Our Vision

We believe that all Hotel Managers deserve to have time to be with family and friends.  So often, the business is so demanding that small opportunities to celebrate pass by and can never be recaptured.

We also know that you are part of your business and its very hard to pass it over to just anyone.

That's where we come in.

We believe that our values, our personal relationships and our solid track record of success will enable us to work seamlessly with your team to ensure the operation runs smoothly in your absence.

We will do this with a steady, planned approach agreed in advance with you.

Meet the Team

Our team is quite intimate, just the two of us.  We have complimentary skillsets that we can turn to your advantage and as part of our package we can review existing KPIs and systems and look at people management and customer service at the property.

Jim Feeney

Founder

Jim spent 4/5 years in London having qualified in DIT in the early seventies.  While there he worked in various departmental management capacities before finishing up as F&B Manager in the Clifton Ford Hotel which he left to return to Ireland to manage what was then Jury's Sligo Hotel (now Sligo Park Hotel).

Later Jim joined Great Southern Hotels first as General Manager in Eyre Square property in 1985 before moving to Parknasilla in County Kerry two years later and spent the next 17 years there before moving to Tralee to open the new Manor West Hotel in 2004.

Jim then returned to Parknasilla in 2009 for another two year stretch before leaving to set up his own Hotel Consultancy business in 2011.

When time permits

Jim likes to do various courses, particularly those that have 18 holes attached and is currently Secretary of Parknasilla Golf Club.

Other reckless pursuits include

following a rejuvenated Munster rugby team and hoping some day to have another excuse to visit Croke Park like in 1998 but this time to celebrate a Kildare success!!
